  In February 2020 I was invited by Ithika Films in partnership with JR’s Inside Out Project, to document the erection of a new elementary school and fresh water well in The Gambia, in the small town of Kuntaur. After several days of connecting with this lovely community, they honored us as guests with a traditional goat sacrifice accompanied by collective prayers, to be prepared as a shared sacred feast with our new family in the spirit of gratitude.
