IT CAN'T BE TRUE

A blind woman feels the enticing presence of a voyeur outside her window one night, and warmed by his gaze, she keeps him watching.  Her dreams reflect the desire to be looked at, yet she’ll never know for sure if her admirer actually exists.  Perhaps the desire is not so much to be seen, but to see herself, to know she is alive, to know she exists.

It Can’t Be True was commissioned by Untitled Magazine for Art Basel Miami Beach 2011; Official selection for Lincoln Center’s Dance On Camera festival 2013, featuring a filmmaker panel discussion on Commercial and Art with curator Brighid Greene. Watch here.
